How the Design Process Works
Our design services team provides industrial design, mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering, as well as all related services, ultimately taking your idea to a working 3D database that can be used for prototyping and production.
The industrial design team will work with you to make sure your idea fully meets the needs of the users you’re targeting, increasing your chances of market success. We can work with you to provide aesthetic and ergonomic solutions that give form to your idea.
The mechanical engineering team will apply decades of experience to develop CAD data that utilizes appropriate wall thickness, draft angles, and assembly details for appropriate manufacturability, strength, and optimized performance, as well as assisting you in selecting the best materials for your product criteria.
The resulting 3D database will be production ready for any of the prototyping technologies and the 2D drawings will include manufacturing tolerances that can be used for production monitoring and quality control purposes. Prototypes will be utilized as a development tool during the process, and all final data will be production ready.
Our specialty is manufacturing, and we do not want to add any unmerited cost or communication interference to the design process, so we will match you directly with a design and engineering partner. We will review designs for manufacturability and pick up the manufacturing upon completion of design and development process.
